Twilight Saga: Eclipse party

Twilight Saga: Eclipse release party!
I'm a little late posting the pictures to this party due to events that happened shortly after but I'm back on track now.  I had so much fun getting this party together with my friend Anne Munholland! I saw the Twilight themed party by Hostess with the Mostess and immediately had the urge to throw a themed party for Eclipse that was coming to theaters soon. I showed the website to Anne and she was on board right away.

Edward Cullen

Pictures cut out from the Illustrated movie companion and put into frames.
Most of the supplies (picture frames, candles, clear plastic bowls, serving trays) came from The Dollar Tree - where EVERYTHING is $1!!!
scented candle in larger glass bowl with red glass to coordinate with the red and black theme. 5x7 print outs from Hostess with the Mostess.

We had an Italian pasta dish (just like Bella) and plenty of other themed hors d'oeuvres to bite into (pun intended lol)
red ribbon was used to symbolize the ribbon on the Eclipse book cover.
red and black table
bloody popcorn - Wilton Color Mist food color spray

black chips (blue corn chips) and salsa - still going with the red and black color scheme.

drink labels from Hostess with the Mostess, we had a great time with friends and blood red jello shots (both not shown, idk what happened to those pics....)

Hope to do it again really soon!

Hollywood Sweet 16!

I love any party theme but the Hollywood theme gets a little more love because you can be as glamorous as you want.  I was tasked with making the rep carpet stanchions and "velvet" ropes and a mini step repeat background for a Sweet 16.                        For the stanchions : concrete, small pie pans for the molds, PCV pipe, caps and sleeves (they might not be called that but you get the point), glitter tape, glitter sealer (it is a must trust me), 7/8" gold cup hooks and a drill to make the holes. For the "velvet" ropes : installation tubes, fleece fabric, red ribbon, and plenty of hot glue 😉

Sleeping On Clouds (Baby Photography)

There is nothing sweeter or more angelic than a sleeping baby. When my son was a baby I could stare at him for the longest time just admiring his little features and waiting for him to smile on his sleep. Little Miss A'Niya Mecole inspired me to make this scene to photograph her sleeping so angelically. I used her changing table and most materials were purchased from my favorite store  Hobby Lobby : the sky background (bulletin paper), fabrics, flowers, and clouds (pillow stuffing).

Minnie Mouse banner (revised!)

Ok so I made a Minnie Mouse banner for a friends daughter, but I got an idea to make it better (I am always finding ways to make something better or at least my own). Here's the revised finished version: And here is the original: Much better huh? Glad I visioned another way before I adhered the letters!
