I am always looking for ways to express my creativity, so when my friend Kisha asked me to help decorate a bridal shower she was hosting I think I said "yes" before she could finish asking me! LOL. The theme: Roses are Red and we decided to add touches of sexy and dainty accents with the lace and pearls. The Bride-To-Be's name is Mahogany so I made a "M" out of silk roses to greet the guess as they come in and signed the guess book. The beautiful rose topiaries you see here are made from felt circles and I got the inspiration from  The Idea Room's Heart Felt Wreath post .  Easy to make but very time consuming. I added pearl corsage pins to the balls to tie in the pearls draping from the glass cylinder that are wrapped in black ace trim. Oooh lala is what I was thinking when I made this French inspired memo board.  Black and white damask fabric with pink ribbon. This was my first memo board and it came out great! Although I wish I could have found little Eiffel Tower brads or pins to go over the black decorative brads.... the search continues (lol). This project is simple and easy to make. By changing the fabric, color, size of board, ribbon, or brads you can customize this project to fit your specific needs. Damask fabric: $4 Ultra fine batting - $5 (I only used about 1/4 of the package) 12x24 wood board: $4 Pink ribbon - $1 Decorative brads - $1 other materials already on hand: staple gun, centering ruler and yard stick (measure and space ribbon diamonds), and hammer for the brads. Here are some 12x12 scrapbook pages to put some of those pictures you were taking of the kids tearing open their presents, family gathering around the dinner table, or playtime in the snow like the pictures below. Scrapbooking is easier than people think, all you need are the basics supplies: pictures, paper, adhesive, scissors, paper trimmer, and embellishments like ribbon, stickers, and glitter.  Don't be intimidated by all the supplies and things that are out there, just start small. These layouts were made in minutes. Themed paper, ribbon, stickers, 3-D embellishments, and a corner rounder and you got yourself scrapbook pages.

We always leave a treat for Santa Claus by the Christmas tree so I thought why not make a cute sign that we can use for years to come. Very easy to make Christmas project that kids can help with or can make on their own (with adult supervision of course). Materials used: • 12x6 piece of wood that I had in my craft supply box but you could use chipboard, wood, even poster board. • Creative Imagines 12x12 gingerbread scrapbook paper • Dark brown, red, and white paint • small wooden men ($1.50 for a pack of 4 at Michael's) • red letter stickers • red felt • red ribbon • glitter • sealer and varnish for wood • hot glue gun and glue sticks • *staple gun (optional) Directions: •Apply sealer to wood and gingerbread men, let dry then paint brown.
